☕ GoCoast Dockside · for waterfront cafés & restaurants

Riders already pull up. Make it yours.

GoCoast riders who come in by jet ski or boat open the app at your counter and get a deal you set. You get a steady stream of customers off the water. You pay a small monthly fee, plus $1 for each rider who actually walks in.

An example pass. The rider shows it at your counter, and your staff can see it's live and not a screenshot.

How it works

Pull up. Show the app. Get the deal.

It works like EatClub, but every customer arrives off the water.

STEP 01
You pick the deal
Free coffee with a meal, 15% off food, free chips with a burger. Whatever works for your margins. You can change it whenever you like.
STEP 02
Riders see you on the water
Your venue shows up in the app's food stops with your deal, opening hours, and exactly where to tie up or beach.
STEP 03
They redeem at your counter
The rider taps Redeem when they're at your venue. A live pass comes up on their phone. Your staff glance at it and apply the deal. There's no code to type and no extra till step.
STEP 04
You see every visit
Each month you get a report of every redemption by day and time, and an invoice for exactly that number. Nothing estimated.
Who can join

On the water, or it's not Dockside

We only list venues a rider can actually reach on a jet ski and by boat. We check every one before it goes live.

You qualify if
There's a real way in from the water
✓You have your own jetty or pontoon, or you're in a marina with visitor or day berths.
✓Or there's a public pontoon or a sheltered beach landing within a short walk.
✓Jet skis are legal on the water in front of you. Some waterways ban them, such as Sydney Harbour and the upper Noosa River.
✓You'll tell us exactly where riders should tie up, so we can show it in the app.
We'll say no if
Getting to you isn't safe or legal
✕The only way in is landing on a patrolled surf beach or wading ashore.
✕The nearest tie-up is a ferry or CityCat terminal. Private boats can't use those.
✕The water out front is closed to jet skis or to motorised boats.
✕You're a "short walk" from the water that's really a 15-minute walk.

Every rider who uses GoCoast owns or rides a boat or a jet ski.
Dockside puts your venue in front of them when they're already out on the water.

Pricing

A small fee, and $1 per rider

APPLY FOR DOCKSIDE
$1 per redemption is about 3% of a typical $30 visit, but you only pay it when a rider is actually standing at your counter.
Capped at $150 a month. On a huge month the extra riders are free, so a busy season never turns into a surprise bill.
Founding venues: the first 10 venues get their first month's fee free and keep their price for 12 months. We'll confirm your go-live date when we call.
Questions

The things venues ask

Why $1 a rider instead of a percentage of the bill?

Because we don't see your till, and we're not going to ask you to hand it over. A percentage only works when the whole bill goes through an app, the way it does with EatClub. A flat $1 per redemption is simple to check: you see every redemption listed in your report, and the invoice matches it exactly.

What deal do I have to offer?

You choose. It needs to be worth something real to a rider, roughly 10% off or a freebie worth around $5. Most venues go for a free coffee with a meal or 10–15% off food. You can change your deal whenever you like, and you can limit it to certain days or quiet times.

How do I know it's a real rider and not a screenshot?

The pass is live. It has a moving bar and the current time, and it only stays up for ten minutes. A rider can only open it when their phone is at your venue, and only once per day per venue. Your staff only need to look at the screen.

Do my staff need training or a new device?

No. There's nothing to install, scan or type. If they can look at a phone screen, they can run Dockside.

We're near the water but don't have a jetty. Can we join?

Possibly. A public pontoon or a sheltered, legal beach landing a short walk away counts. Tell us where riders would tie up and we'll check it. If it isn't safe or legal for both jet skis and boats, we'll tell you straight and won't take your money.

Am I locked in?

Dockside is month to month, and you can cancel any time. Dockside Plus has a 3-month minimum, because the map and social placements need a season to work.

Are prices inclusive of GST?

Prices are in Australian dollars, excluding GST. Your invoice shows GST separately.
