Zero Tolerance

GoCoast has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This applies across every part of the app that lets people share content or communicate with each other — community posts and comments, direct messages, marketplace messages and listings, group chat, and profile content.

GoCoast does not permit, host, facilitate, or knowingly allow content or behavior that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors, including grooming, solicitation, or the sharing of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.

How We Prevent and Respond to It

GoCoast is a water sports planning and community app — it is not designed or marketed for use by children, and its core features (ride recording, marketplace, safety reporting) are oriented toward adult riders and boat owners.

Every user-generated content surface in the app has a built-in reporting mechanism:

Any post, comment, chat message, direct message, or marketplace listing can be reported directly from within the app.
Reported content is automatically hidden from public view once it receives multiple independent reports, pending review.
Users can block another user at any time, immediately preventing further contact.
Accounts found to have posted CSAE content, or to have used the app to solicit or endanger a minor, are permanently banned and their content removed.

If you find CSAE content or behavior on GoCoast: report it immediately using the in-app report feature on the content or user in question, and separately email us at the address below with as much detail as possible (what you saw, when, and the username or content link if available). We treat these reports as the highest priority and will act on them immediately, including removing content, banning accounts, and — where required by law — reporting to the relevant national authority (such as NCMEC in the United States, or the eSafety Commissioner in Australia) and law enforcement.

CSAE reports are reviewed as a priority, separately from general content moderation, and are not subject to the standard response-time window used for other enquiries.
